Welcome to BlazorForge

BlazorForge is a production-ready Blazor WebAssembly theme built for .NET developers who need enterprise-grade UI without spending months on design. This documentation covers everything from installation to deployment.

BlazorForge includes seven production-ready pages, sixty-five pre-built components, a full component library, Decap CMS integration, and Microsoft Fluent 2 design tokens. Everything is written in pure C# Razor components with zero JavaScript dependencies.

This User Guide is for developers who have purchased BlazorForge and want to install, configure, and deploy the theme. If you want to customize the source code or understand the architecture, see the Developer Guide instead.

You need the .NET 9 SDK installed on your computer. If you do not have it yet, see the Requirements page. You also need a code editor such as Visual Studio 2022, JetBrains Rider, or VS Code.

If you want to get up and running immediately, follow these three steps.

First, install the .NET 9 SDK from the official Microsoft download page.

Second, extract the BlazorForge ZIP file to a folder on your computer.

Third, open a terminal in that folder and run dotnet run. Wait for the terminal to print Now listening on: http://localhost:5052, then open that URL in your browser.

If you are new to Blazor or .NET, read the What is BlazorForge page first to understand what the theme is and what it does.

If you already know Blazor and want to deploy, go straight to Deploy to Netlify or Deploy to Cloudflare.

If you want to edit content without touching code, see Content Editing with Decap CMS.

If you run into issues, check the FAQ first. Most common questions are answered there. If you still need help, email us or hire us on Fiverr for custom work.
